As part of our clinical support team, you will be a key component in customer satisfaction and have a responsibility to make every contact informative, productive and positive for our members and providers.
You'll have the opportunity to do live outreach, educating members about program benefits and services while also helping to manage member cases.

Primary Responsibilities: Manage administrative intake of members Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providersProcess incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers Requirements: High School Diploma / GED or higher Bilingual in English & Spanish Microsoft office experience including Word (create & edit documents), Excel (sort & filter data), Outlook (calendar & email) and PowerPoint (create presentations). 2+ years' experience in a deadline driven environment. 2+ years' experience using communications and interpersonal skills (internal/external customers).
2+ years' experience using organizational skills Ability to work 7 days a week Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree or higher Experience with Medicaid / Medicare market Event planning or marketing experience within a matrix organization Ability to travel/travel overnight Soft Skills: Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity Careers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
