Logistics Technical Professional (Early/Mid-Career)

We are seeking a logistics professional to assist with the design, implementation, and oversight of all aspects of logistics program areas for Sandia National Laboratories. You will develop and implement logistics policy, as well as develop and execute projects that may include materials receipt, storage, and shipment, including hazardous, explosive, and radioactive materials; property management and disposition; and mail services. You will need to understand the technical and political implications of regulations and determine the best approaches for compliance given the variety of operations. Additionally, you will interface with researchers, operations, and management to achieve program efficiency and success.


+ Bachelor's degree in a supply chain related discipline or 8 years directly related experience
+ Experience with Excel as well as other Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
+ Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance


+ Advanced Degree in a relevant discipline
+ At least three years of Logistics experience
+ Experience in EBI, Oracle, or EIS
+ RAD Worker I trained
+ Knowledge of radiological source applications
+ Knowledge of explosive Safety
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated ability to document site configurations, security designs, and assessments with attention to detail for reporting
+ Strong customer focus and a desire to effectively manage the business needs
+ Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of the workforce at all levels.
+ Current and active DOE Q-level security clearance

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) granted Q-level security clearance.

Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre-employment drug testing, and a pre-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record and credit checks, and employment and education verifications.
